It’s that time of year again when the Centre launches a recruitment drive for suitable volunteers to join our Board of Trustees. You can see what a busy multi activity centre we run and we are always looking for new community minded people…
| We are a charitable trust with 9 Directors and an established & committed workforce. We are looking for suitable volunteers to join the Board of Trustees.You will need to have an interest in overseeing the provision of services to the community & the successful running of the Centre. All trustees must be Bulkington residents & preferably have some organisational experience within the private, voluntary or public sector. The basic duties are attending the monthly board meeting which oversees all aspects of this charitable company & joining in at least one of six Board sub-committees that meet to consider finance, buildings & equipment, personnel, health & safety, entertainment and procedures. The centre is well supported by an efficient & happy workforce, and the Board is a friendly group which is made up of a usefully diverse range of individuals with different experiences and skills.
